Know a high achiever who is
breaking industry boundaries?
The New Establishment program celebrates exceptional junior - and mid-level
professionals who are changing the Canadian communications industry.
Do you know someone who’s doing something truly different from others in their
position? Know a pioneer who is finding better ways to serve clients or grow the
business? Nominations for all three The New Establishment categories are now
open until October 28, 2023.
Media
For media professionals with grit, initiative and accomplishments who test the
limits and make waves in the Canadian media industry.
Brand
For high-achieving marketers who are pushing boundaries and driving real results
and setting new standards for their company and team.
Agency
For outside-the-box thinkers from any agency who have gone beyond their job
description to create new solutions to challenges.
One winner from each category will be selected and announced in the spring at
the 2024 AToMiC Awards. The winners will also be featured in the spring issue of
strategy and on strategyonline.ca.
Is there an age limit?
Nope. The New Establishment wants to find those in the early and mid-stages of
their career who are raising the bar for everyone else. Nominations are determined
by job role and seniority, not age.
Who can I nominate?
Co-workers. Rivals. Bosses. Employees. Someone on your brand team
who consistently impresses - basically anyone you think the industry should know
about. Just make sure you can demonstrate their expertise in concrete terms.
Can I nominate myself?
Absolutely. Please do.
What are the criteria?
The nomination form asks for information that indicates someone who has made
an impact, whose accomplishments can be clearly demonstrated with campaign
results, new business practices, innovative models and the like. We prioritize those
who are doing something new – builders and leaders, rather than followers. Tell us
who’s punching above their weight class and driving results for their brand.
What happens after I nominate myself or someone else?
Our editorial team reviews all the applications to determine who we should keep
researching. We’ll contact co-workers, managers, and agency partners to get a
better sense of what your nominee has done to make their mark.
